Luke Miller

Lucas J. “Luke” Miller is dedicated to serving the Houston community when they need to navigate the stressful world of civil litigation. Law is an inherently human practice, and at times it requires human compassion—even in commercial or property disputes. From the routine and straightforward to the tangled and complex, Luke is ready and willing to tackle the issues his clients face in all aspects of civil legal practice.

Luke joined Hayes Hunter PC in 2022 as an associate attorney, after obtaining his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston Law Center and working for a prestigious boutique probate litigation firm in Houston, Texas. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Luke published several essays, poems, and short stories after obtaining a Master’s degree in English from the University of Houston. This work, along with subsequent people-facing careers, allows Luke to analyze a given case with both a heightened academic scrutiny and an intense desire to help others. In addition, Luke’s previous experience in both the trial advocacy and criminal appellate worlds allows him to handle complex legal arguments and wield them effectively, whether in writing or in the courtroom. Luke’s passion for advocacy has resulted in a drive to perform efficiently and effectively for his clients, constantly aiming for their best possible outcome under the circumstances.

Outside the practice of law, Luke can be found playing the piano, spoiling his nephews rotten, exercising, or cooking.
